It was a stopover to break up the drive before camping the next day and as such, was ideal. Neat little studio flat had amenties to cook as well. Kids needed the splash about in the pool after 6 hours in the car. Not much in nearby village so went towards Thouars to get something to eat. However, just after we crossed the bridge into Le Thouet, we found the Pat In on the right side which did decent pixzza's from its trailer next door. Ideal quick dinner as it was late. Staff at Le Patio were friendly and helpful. I would go back again if we were travelling through this region again.

The hotel was a good location, the rooms are very spacious and the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel provides excellent value for money, checking in and out was very simple. As we are regular visitors to France we will now be visiting the hotel on a regular basis when we are in the area.
The bar could be improved by having beer on tap. Also the grass around the apartments needed mowing, however these are minor things and did not spoil our stay.

The room was spacious and the staff friendly.
The hotel was more of a hostel and miles from anywhere. We didn't find anywhere nearby to eat dinner.

Apartments were very spacious, comfortable and clean. It was quiet.
Facilities - the pool was very small and no where to sit out. The bar was non existent. The restaurant was closed 90% of the time - only open for breakfast. The town itself was like a ghost town - what a place to put a hotel!

Place was good - very quiet and not far from main attractions - Chinon, Seumur, Anger, etc Hotel is new, so every equipment was new and plesant to use Rooms are very big kitchen is the separate room - it's very usefull
Because this hotel is new, there was lack of funiture in kitchen and we suffer from mistake (for which later received monetary compensation) - our room was not cleaned at arriving

Very good value, very clean, with a lovely little pool as a bonus. Our apartment had cooking rings too so we could self-cater. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We'd highly recommend it as a stop-over when travelling.
Evening meals were not available on the nights we stayed and we didn't understand enough French to be able to follow the directions to the pizzeria. We've now left them a sketch map to give to future English visitors! It feels like the hotel is newly opened and not quite up and running yet. Corridors etc were rather echoey and empty; some more pictures would help to soften it? It would also help a lot to have notices with times of breakfast, alternative supper venues etc.

A pleasant if short stay booked at the last minute, so all in all very good. Very, very calm locality so expect to travel about 10 km if you want to do anything other than stroll in the vicinity (eg. Eat out). Pool is entirely weather dependent. Pleasant staff. Saw no-one else despite it being just after high season. Apartments are spacious, bright and well appointed. Recommended if you are looking to relax in the area.
Location is quite remote - 10km to the nearest area with restaurants etc.

This is an unusual hotel - a residence hotelier, with 81 apartments or suites, situated in a tiny village on the borders of the Pays de Loire and Poitou Charente. It also seeks to attract long term stays, and retired people. As a stopover on a long journey from the Pyrenees to the English Channel, it was ideal - a quiet base with a pool after a very hot, slow day on the road.

This is a good budget family accomodation option if you are in that area - equidistant from the local theme parks (Futuroscope/ Puy de Fou) - loads of space, a balcony and a communal pool. Very friendly staff and a restaurant car which we didn't get around to using but which which looked good. Great value for money in peak season.
Only a few minor niggles - only basic catering facilities (there was a microwave) with the weakest cooker ring I have ever seen - great for slow cooking - I suppose and the sofa bed that the children shared had very noisy springs so they slept on the mattress on the floor after the first night. Apart from that fine.

The publicity states there is free wifi and a restaurant, which is used by "locals". There was no restaurant or wifi. The recepcionist tried to activate a router but did not have the ability or information to enable that to happen. The place is aimed at retirement serviced stays. Over all a poor attempt at running what could be a wonderful resting place.
